Online One to One  Tuition

Lisa McNee English Tuituon offers online term time or school holiday one to one tuition from Year 6-Year 11.  

Each student has access to a personalised online Google Classroom space with all learning materials, recordings of all sessions and the one to one time live with an experienced English teacher for one hour plus homework set and marked. Sessions are £40 each and are paid for via invoice for the upcoming month.

Term time one to one tuition is currently full with a waiting list in place. Please contact me if you would like your child's details added to the wiating list.

There are one to one spaces available for school holiday tuition. 

Small Group Online English Tuition

Lisa McNee English Tuition offers GCSE English Language and Literature online term time group tuition. 

Groups are limited to 8 and students do not have to have their cameras on, however mine will always be on.

Each student has their own set of google slides and access to all learning resources and recordings of the sessions.

Homework is set and marked. These group sessions are in six weekly blocks which are £120. This works out at 50% less than one to one.

Pre-recorded English Tuition

Pre-recorded sessions are lessons recorded for the student to work through in their own time. Homework is set and recorded. These are in blocks of 6 and are £60. This works out at £10 per session.

School Led Tutoring

As an English teacher Lisa McNee English Tuition can provide school-led tuition in person or online.

NTP School-Led Tutoring is one of the 3 ways schools can access tuition for their pupils.. Under this route, all eligible state-funded primary and secondary schools and academy trusts in England receive a direct, ring-fenced grant from the Department for Education (DfE) to spend on local tutoring provision.

Tuition sessions work best delivered one-to-one or in small groups (recommended ratio of 1:3,maximum 1:6). Evidence demonstrates that small group tuition has greater outcomes for pupils. 

The school is able to decide the topics covered within the English curriculum/exam specification to be delivered to ensure the greatest impact on its pupils.

Homeschooling

Lisa McNee English Tuition takes a comprehensive and collaborative approach in creating a plan and program that is right for every student. Adjusting to different personalities and specific academic needs, I always find what works best. Please contact to discuss the individual child's needs.
